These were a royal pain in the butt to make! I felt like I was rolling forever and ever and ever! Once I froze my cupcakes the gum paste became realy, really shiny and the lady bugs looked even better.
ReplyDeleteYou have to kind of rough up the spot where you want the two pieces to join or they will never attach. It was very tidious to make all of the lady bugs so I recommend that you make the lady bugs one day freeze them and then just put themon top of your freshly grassed (lol) cupcakes.
A royal pain to make but oh my word SO cute!
ReplyDeleteMIndy and Wendy did most of the work making up the balls for the ladybugs, which was a looooong process. They are super cute and once you got going not too bad. I think we were sooo exhausted as we did all three different cupcake decorations when we should have stayed with one.
